Private Island Jyväskylä

From the 1930s all the way to 2016, the island served as a recreation spot for the staff of Osuuskauppa Keskimaa. Today the island is privately owned and can be rented for your own use or for accommodation. The island is located on Lake Tuomiojärvi, 2 km from the centre of Jyväskylä. The island has a cottage, a separate sauna building and a small A-frame cabin for two. Guests have the use of two boats with electric motors, a large sauna and a hot tub. In all, there are sleeping places for up to 14 people. Rowing to the island takes 10 minutes.
