Pistocamp

Pistocamp is a campsite located on the shore of Lake Saimaa in the legendary Pistohiekka area. The site offers tent and caravan pitches with and without electricity in the middle of a pine heath, as well as various ready-made accommodation options such as glamping tents, Kehto cabins and caravan cabins. The area is home to Pisto Cafe, which holds a full alcohol licence and serves sweet and savoury food as well as refreshments and morning porridge. Guests have access to showers, toilet facilities, a shared kitchen, laundry facilities, a chemical toilet emptying point, water points, campfire sites and a gas grill. Pistocamp also features a natural sandy beach, a raft sauna, a volleyball court, a playground and outdoor games. SUP boards and a rowing boat can also be rented on site, and the surrounding area has jogging trails and cycling routes. The campsite operates on a self-service basis in May and opens with full service from the beginning of June.
