Marttilan Eräveikot ry is a registered association operating in the Marttila municipality area, focusing on game management and hunting on leased lands. The association has a hunting lodge in Simala, Marttila, which was completed in autumn 2018. The lodge is used for the association's own gatherings and is also rented out to outside parties for meetings and sauna evenings. In addition, the association has built grill/rest cabins in the villages of Hirvas and Ruskolaiset in Marttila, which are available for everyone to use year-round. Activities also include active shooting practice with competitions at the shooting range outside the hunting season. Game management is supported through game feeding, game fields, and keeping small predator populations under control.
