Pöyhölä Shore Manor

Rantakartano Pöyhölä is a historic manor complex located on the shore of Lake Keurusselkä, whose estate boundaries were established as early as 1478. The yard area includes several buildings for different purposes. The main building is a house hand-hewn from logs in 1900 for the Keuruu chaplain's rectory, which now houses restaurant and meeting facilities. The rectory has a professional kitchen where all food is made in-house. The other main building, Kivimannila (built 1901, formerly the farm manager's house), is mainly used for accommodation for 40 people in large group rooms. The building has the Wanha Tupa, suitable for dances, Christmas parties, and evening get-togethers. In addition, there is a 1960s course accommodation building on the grounds with rooms for 3-12 people, offering about 30 accommodation spots in total, as well as the Wanha Riihi and a covered hay barn for outdoor performances for up to 100 people. A large waterfront sauna with terraces can be rented from the shore, suitable for an evening for about 25-30 people. The sauna has access to its own sandy beach and campfire spot. The manor has about 350 meters of shoreline on Lake Keurusselkä, and one can also set off onto the water from the shore by church boat. Between the buildings there is a good hectare of birch-lined lawn for baseball and football matches or outdoor events.
