OPEN SAUNA MAPIsosaari, located in the outer archipelago of Helsinki, has been open to the public since 2017. The island is owned by Senate Properties, but its operation is managed by FRS Finland Oy. There used to be regular ferry service to the island, but the island's underwater water pipe was damaged in the winter, and Senate Properties has determined that repairing it is not worthwhile. As a result, services dependent on water, which include at least restaurants and saunas, could no longer be provided going forward.
