Elmo Sports Park and Swimming Pool is a major sports centre being built in Asola, Vantaa, between Korso and Koivukylä. The project's flagship is the new swimming pool, which upon completion will be the largest in Vantaa and one of the biggest in all of Finland. The swimming pool is scheduled to be completed in the summer of 2027, and it will replace the current Korso swimming pool. The swimming pool facilities will feature a versatile selection of pools, including a ten-lane 50-metre main pool, a therapy and teaching pool, a diving pool and a water slide. The building will also house a gym and group exercise facilities. The sports park itself is being built in stages, and in addition to the swimming pool, the plans include an ice rink as well as extensive outdoor sports areas, such as playing fields and park-like trails serving exercisers all year round.
