Kolin Mattila is a traditional Bed & Breakfast inn located right along the outdoor trails and in the heart of Koli National Park. Operating since 2015, the estate offers rural-style accommodation in the midst of a traditional landscape. Accommodation options are available in the over 100-year-old main log building, which has two double rooms and two larger family rooms for 4–6 people. In the summer season, the accommodation options expand to include the electrified 2–3 person rooms of the traditional loft granary as well as hammock camping in the yard. All accommodation options include breakfast and a daily sauna slot. The main building, which preserves an old-time atmosphere, has no flush toilets; instead, guests have access to dry toilets located in a separate outbuilding. Washing takes place primarily in the wood-heated log sauna in the yard, and in addition there is a shower cabin and a small kitchen available upstairs in the main building.
