Kukkolan Vierastalot

Kukkolan Vierastalot is a small holiday accommodation complex in the village of Kukkola. The site is located at the top of the Kukkolankoski rapids. The Tornionjoki is the largest freely flowing salmon and whitefish spawning river in Northern Europe. The cultural landscape surrounding the rapids has preserved traditional fishing structures and methods on both sides of the border river. Each apartment has two separate beds, a bathroom with shower and toilet, a TV, and a mini-kitchen with a refrigerator, microwave oven and coffee maker. The surroundings are peaceful: it is a few hundred meters to the riverbank, and the rapids can be reached with a short walk. Activities in the area include fishing and rapid shooting, among others.
