Riverside Village Ylläs is a peaceful self-catering accommodation site located in Kolari, along the Äkäsjoki river. The site consists of 12 modern mini-cabins of about 20 square meters, situated in a forest landscape far from the tourist bustle. The cabin is designed especially for couples and small groups (2–3 people), and its large windows allow you to admire the surrounding nature and the northern lights. Each cabin is equipped with its own sauna, shower, WC and a small kitchen that allows for self-catering. Amenities also include a wood-burning stove, an air heat pump, underfloor heating, free Wi-Fi and parking. There is no restaurant or shop on site, so using a car is recommended; the nearest shop is located in Äkäslompolo, about a 15-minute drive away. Ski trails run about 300 meters from the cabins, and the Äkäsjoki river offers fishing opportunities right next to the accommodation.
