Villa Ilmatar is a historic Art Nouveau villa built in 1908-1909 for the family of customs master Reinhold Lax. The building has been renovated with respect for the old: the original light brown tone of the facade has been restored, and details patinated by time, such as doors, stairs and log walls, have been preserved indoors. Traditional tiled stoves and original plank floors also create atmosphere. Accommodation is available in rooms in both the main and the yard building. In addition, an 80-square-meter apartment can be rented from the villa, which includes its own kitchen and three balconies. The villa is located in a peaceful spot near the shore, a park and tennis courts.
