The Tievatupa hiking and course center offers versatile accommodation and services for individual travelers, families, and large camp groups alike. The destination exudes an authentic Lapland atmosphere, and its background organization is the Center for Children and Youth. The area's accommodation selection is extensive, ranging from fully equipped new holiday cottages to traditional wilderness cabin atmospheres and camping options. Tievatupa's services are designed to support an active holiday and group activities. The main building's dining hall serves home-style buffet food for up to 80 people, and the ski trail café, open during peak seasons, is especially known for its pancakes. For relaxation, there is a beach sauna with a fireplace lounge, from which one can take a dip in the Kakslauttanen river or, in winter, in the ice-swimming hole. The area's special attractions include the atmospheric Tievakappeli, Lapland's first tourist church, and the large Tievakota, which serves as a gathering place for up to 50 people, complete with pancake feasts.
