This sauna has public shifts

On the island of Sälgrund, off the town of Kaskinen, stands Finland's first petroleum-fuelled lighthouse, now 150 years old, along with the culturally and historically valuable surroundings of the former pilot station. Accommodation is available at the Sälgrund guesthouse in the former pilot station or in the granary building in its yard. Savoury and sweet treats can be enjoyed at Vera's coffee cottage during the summer season. Boat transport to Sälgrund is arranged throughout the summer season. You can also come to the island with your own boat to Laxhamn harbour. The Sälgrund sauna is available for rent for small groups. The distance from the sauna to the best possible swimming spot, a cove on the side of the island, is about 100 metres. The water by the shore is rocky, but further out you will find a sandy bottom. In the summer there have also been public sessions.
