The Karilatsi Open-Air Museum is located along the historical postal road and is the largest open-air museum in Southern Estonia. The museum grounds cover about five hectares and contain restored buildings that form a typical early 20th-century village centre: a school building, old farm structures such as a cowshed, a grain storehouse, a smoke sauna, a manor house, a windmill and other agricultural buildings.
