The Drying Shed is an award-winning, off-grid forest sauna located at Great Park Farm in the High Weald AONB, East Sussex. Designed by Built Works for Architects Holiday, the architecture references historic local agricultural drying sheds and features sustainable materials such as red larch shingles and an alder timber interior. The sauna is wood-fired with a Narvi stove and offers a meditative experience with a large picture window overlooking a stream. It is available for private self-light sessions to both guests staying in the on-site eco-cabins and external visitors.
