YMCA Rokua Camp Center

The Rokua camp centre, owned by Oulu YMCA, is located on the shore of Lake Vaulujärvi in the Rokua hill area. The site is suitable for organising camps, school camps, team days as well as family and corporate events all year round. The camp centre has accommodation for about 60 people, with rooms ranging in size from 2 to 16 beds. The main building has dining and meeting facilities as well as group work rooms. There is a lakeside sauna by the shore, and the yard area includes a barbecue shelter, a tent area and an asphalted basketball and volleyball court. Boats and canoes are also available for guests. The association has established the Soppinen nature conservation area around the camp centre. The terrain of the area offers opportunities for, among other things, jogging, mountain biking, orienteering, and in winter skiing on an illuminated track and snowmobiling.
