Granön leirialue

The Granön camp area is located on an island, reached from the mainland via a strait about a kilometer long. The area has a stove-heated lodging building for 12 people, equipped with mattresses, dining tables and dishware. Electricity is provided by solar panels, and there is a solar-powered refrigerator in use. For dining, the area has a shelter for about 20 people and an outdoor kitchen with a gas stove and grill, as well as a separate dishwashing station. For leisure activities, there is a playing field, a campfire spot, a kota shelter, as well as canoes, kayaks and a rowboat. The area also has a sauna, and visitors are responsible for cleaning the facilities and removing trash from the island. As a site owned by the City of Helsinki, the area is smoke-free and substance-free.
