The Uutela Cabin is a modest hostel located in Vuosaari by the sea, intended for use by small camps and day trips from May to September. The cabin is situated at the end of a forest road near the Meriharju Nature House. The electricity is based on solar panels, which provide power for lighting and a small refrigerator, and heating is handled by a fireplace or a wood stove. The yard has two outhouses and a shore sauna, alongside which there is a small cottage room with two beds. The sauna is traditional, and the washing water is heated in a separate water cauldron. Water is fetched from a water point outside.
