Hotel & Café Mathildedal is located in the historic ironworks village of Mathildedal near Salo. Accommodation is provided in loft-style rooms made in the old Karkaisimo building, as well as in shipping containers built on the roof, offering a view over the ironworks area. The downstairs café offers homemade pastries and, in summer, breakfast and lunch. The sauna area can be rented for 1.5 hours at a time and is for fully private use. Adjoining the sauna is a small terrace area, a natural water shower, and a changing room.
