The sauna of the Professional Sales and Marketing Association of Southwest Finland (formerly Turku Salesmen's Association) is a familiar place to many people from Turku. The association bought it in 1960. The seller was Baron Erik Indrenius-Zalewski, who had a power of attorney given by his mother, Dr. Maggie Ehrström. The original sauna was not satisfactory, so a new sauna was built in 1963. The design of the new sauna was based on the idea that it would have even more general use also outside the membership. The sauna of the Salesmen offers a magnificent setting for meetings and wellbeing days as well as for bachelor/bachelorette parties and family celebrations. From the sauna benches you can admire the view of the Turku archipelago, ships and cruise vessels gliding by. From the terrace you can dive straight into the fresh waves of the Airisto strait.
