Haukisaari is a destination owned by Tampereen Vihuri ry., located on Näsijärvi in the Koljonselkä area. The island serves as a landing and rest spot for paddlers. The island's facilities include a wood-heated lakeside sauna and a woodshed, both of which are kept locked. To use the sauna and woodshed, one must obtain a personal key for a fee, which can be acquired, for example, during the club's summer woodshed duty hours. Use of the sauna is entirely self-service, meaning key holders are responsible for heating the sauna themselves, carrying steam water from the lake, and tidying the facilities after use. The sauna is located close to the shore, which allows for swimming in Näsijärvi in connection with sauna bathing. Haukisaari's sauna is only in use during the paddling season.
