Located beside the Akerselva river in Oslo the lounge-style Elvebadstue is a neighbourhood-run sauna accommodating up to 8 guests. Facilities include an electric sauna heater, changing room, and direct river access for a refreshing dip post-sauna. Booking is required; payment via Vipps only. Rules note that you must bring two towels (one to sit on, one to dry off), swimming shoes are recommended for river entry, and diving is prohibited. No showers or lockers available; you use the river for cooling off. This sauna offers a minimalist city wellness break: book a slot, heat up, cool off in the river, relax and repeat.
