This sauna has public shifts

Next to Ähtäri Zoo there is a sauna restaurant with a larger indoor sauna and a smaller outdoor sauna. Both saunas are heated by electric stoves from IKI Kiuas. The löyly is dry, as is typical of an electric stove, the heat is not evenly distributed in the sauna, and the sauna's ventilation is not particularly effective. By keeping the door open, the sauna became considerably more pleasant. The facilities are tidy and you can go swimming from the pier. On a weekday in June there are no other bathers.
