Rantasauna Nilski

Rental use or for members only or for customers only

The Nilski cabin is nowadays called Rantasauna Nilski. The Nilski holiday cabin was built in 1969, almost entirely through volunteer work, on the shore of Lake Vesijärvi in Kangasala, at the mouth of the Saappaanpohja bay. The volunteers of Kangasalan Melojat have maintained it ever since. Nilski has been mainly in the club's own use, as well as in modest rental use, for four decades already. In autumn 2011 a new chapter in its history began, when a comprehensive renovation started at Nilski, in which the beach sauna was renovated to a condition worthy of it and brought up to modern standards.
