Tavisalo Summer Home is a camp center run by the Savonlinna parish. The area has several buildings from different decades: the main building and the older accommodation building date from 1967, the newer accommodation building from 1981, and the sauna building was completed in 1999. The sauna building and its adjoining fireplace lounge are in use year-round. The fireplace lounge has a serving kitchen with basic equipment such as a refrigerator, electric oven, microwave, and coffee maker. The facilities are designed to be accessible; there is accessible access at the back of the building, and an accessible toilet is located near the washing facilities. The outdoor area has a gently sloping sandy beach, a pier, a terrace with gas grills, and a volleyball court. There is plenty of parking space on site. Tavisalo is actively used for various parish events, such as family summer days and mission circle gatherings.
