Alasen sauna

This sauna has public shifts

Alasen beach is located in Laasala, on the shore of the clear-watered, spring-fed Alasen pond. The pond is at its deepest 18 meters, and its water stays refreshing and clean in summer. The beach area has a freely usable kota (hut), a lean-to shelter, swimming cabins, a toilet building and swings. There is also an accessible pier, a swimming pier and two fishing piers as well as a boat harbor. In winter, weather permitting, there is a winter swimming hole at the beach, whose outdoor lighting and circulation pump operate when the street lights are on. The Alasen beach sauna was completed in 2018, and in addition to a spacious terrace it has a small sauna cabin with a stove and a changing room. The wooden sauna is available for rent.
