Eriksdalsbadet is Sweden's national swimming arena and Stockholm's largest swimming centre, located in the Södermalm district by the shore of Årstaviken. This vast sports complex offers diverse opportunities for both elite sports, fitness swimming and water play for families with children. The heart of the hall is a 50-metre competition pool of international standard. There is also a 25-metre training pool as well as a diving pool with towers up to 10 metres high. A family favourite is the adventure spa (Äventyrsbad), which features water slides, a wild river and jacuzzis. Please note that the adventure spa is currently closed for renovation and will reopen in January 2026. During the summer season, Eriksdalsbadet opens a large outdoor pool, which has its own pools for swimming, diving and play for small children. In addition to water sports, Eriksdalsbadet has a very well-equipped gym and group exercise facilities. The services also include a café, sauna facilities and the possibility to rent meeting rooms. The centre is known for its accessibility, with lifts and pool hoists for people with reduced mobility. Opening hours are extensive, and the hall is typically open every day of the week. On weekdays the doors open early in the morning (6:00 AM) and stay open until the evening. On weekends the opening hours are somewhat shorter.
