Röykkä Resort is located in the historic Nummela sanatorium, completed in 1903, on the shore of Lake Sääksjärvi in Nurmijärvi. At the center of the area is an impressive Art Nouveau castle, which creates a mysterious and unique setting for various experiences. The castle was designed by Magnus Schjerfbeck. The resort offers a wide range of services from accommodation to events. Guests can stay, for example, in atmospheric glamping tents, the renovated Forest Warden's House, or hostel rooms in the main building. The area also has a beach sauna, from which one can go swimming in the clear-watered Lake Sääksjärvi. Visitors can also take part in popular guided tours, which explore the fascinating history and stories of the sanatorium.
