Paltamo Golf is located in Kainuu on the shore of Lake Oulujärvi, and its 18-hole course is known for its lake views and elevation differences. The course design has made use of the area's natural features, such as the shoreline, groves, and rocks. The area offers versatile practice facilities, and golf lessons are available for beginners as well as more experienced players. The clubhouse houses the caddiemaster's office, a scenic restaurant, and meeting and sauna facilities. Accommodation services include cabins available for rent year-round, and during the summer season the area also offers a caravan area and a motorhome park. In addition, the course has a marina with refueling facilities for boaters. Besides golf, the location offers a setting for other outdoor activities and leisure time.
