The Müller'sche Volksbad is a magnificent Art Nouveau swimming pool located on the banks of the Isar River in Munich, widely regarded as one of the most beautiful bathing houses in Europe. Opened in 1901 as the city's first public indoor pool, the facility preserves its historic charm with ornate stucco work, murals, and bronze statues, creating an elegant "bathing temple" atmosphere. It features two separate pool halls with different water temperatures—a larger, cooler pool originally for men and a smaller, warmer pool formerly for women—as well as a unique Roman-Irish steam bath, Finnish saunas, and private tub baths that offer visitors a luxurious and nostalgic wellness experience.
