An old iron mine, where a small sauna has been built at a depth of 80 m. You can swim in freezing cold, crystal-clear water that glows in shades of turquoise. The air temperature in the mine is about +4°C. The sauna experience includes a sauna ceremony (aufguss), in which the löyly master throws water on the stones, plays music and wafts the steam onto the bathers with a fan. In between, everyone chats pleasantly together. Between the ceremonies you could also throw the löyly yourself. The stove is a Saunum with air circulation. However, the fan was not kept on because of the noise, so the distribution of heat in the sauna left much to be desired. The stove did produce a nice sharp löyly, though. The trip into the mine is an experience in itself. Wearing helmets, you make your way along a route that is in places difficult and at times icy. The owners have decided that no safety railings or walkways will be built in the tunnels. That is why the guide's instructions must be followed carefully.
