The Arctic Ocean Swimmers, a sub-division of Salla's Ladu ja Polku, has organized winter swimming in Salla since 1993. The new swimming spot is at Salla's beach by the shore of Lake Ruuhijärvi. Everyone is welcome to join the winter swimming sessions.
