The Finnish Sauna Society has about 4,400 members, who enjoy the saunas and take part in the society's other activities. At the Sauna House, good and proper sauna customs are also presented to invited guests and to the domestic and international media, and they are bathed into the secrets of the sauna. The Sauna Society's Sauna House was completed in 1952 in Lauttasaari, Helsinki. The Sauna House, located in Vaskiniemi, contains 3 smoke saunas, 3 externally heated saunas and an electric sauna. In summer there is a mobile sauna in the Sauna House yard. The Sauna House also has a fireplace room, where members can enjoy the services of the café.
