Jan Mayen is a more than hundred-year-old three-masted schooner built in 1914, located in the center of Helsinki at the Halkolaituri pier of the North Harbor. The historic vessel now serves as a unique bar, event space and sauna. The ship's restaurant and drinks side is run by Bar Jan Mayen, a relaxed and atmospheric meeting place. The bar offers quality cocktails, wines, beers and other drinks as well as small savory snacks. For private events, it is possible to order effortless catering services or even a special menu conjured up by your own top chef for up to 50 people. Jan Mayen also has an atmospheric wood-heated IKI-sauna. The sauna has a rinsing option, but no actual shower.
