Kurimo Guesthouse is located in a rural setting alongside the Kurimo cultural estate in Suomussalmi. The former municipal home has been renovated for accommodation use, and its three floors of space are suitable for this purpose. The guesthouse has a total of 65 rooms, ranging from single rooms to apartments for up to 12 people, with extra beds available if needed. Common areas, such as several lounges on different floors and kitchens on every corridor, are available for guests. For an additional fee, saunas, laundry facilities and drying rooms are available. The guesthouse's yard also has caravan spots, some with electrical hookups. The area offers facilities for outdoor activities with paths and shores, and the swimming beach is located about 500 meters away. Recreational options include a billiard and ping-pong table, air hockey, table football, darts and an air rifle range. Also available are a spinning bike and instruments such as pianos, an acoustic and an electric guitar, a drum kit, a ukulele and a xylophone. A snowmobile trail runs near the guesthouse.
