OPEN SAUNA MAPA camp center of the Helsinki Metropolitan Area Scout Foundation, where the Nurmijärvi ski club organizes winter swimming. Because the place is popular in winter, the number of sauna-goers is monitored with a clothespin that is given to and returned by bathers. The beach has a sandy bottom and you can access the water from a jetty. Showers and changing rooms are found separately for men and women.
