Vankkurimännikkö is a caravan site maintained by SF-Caravan Pirkanmaa ry, located in Jäähdyspohja in Virrat. The area has about 250 mostly electrified motorhome/caravan pitches. Highway 66 runs right next to the site, so there is a paved road all the way there. The area's basic facilities include service buildings with toilets and showers, laundry facilities, dishwashing options, as well as a drinking water well and chemical toilet emptying points. For cooking, guests have access to a grill shelter, a fireplace cabin, and spaces equipped with an electric stove and microwave oven. For leisure time, there is a multi-purpose facility called Huvikumpu, which includes a dance hall, billiards, a youth room and a children's play room. There is also a pub and a summer terrace operating for events and occasional opening hours. Outdoor activities include a swimming beach, a mini golf course, volleyball courts, as well as rentable pedal boats and SUP boards. There are playgrounds, a bouncy castle and pedal cars for children. Vankkurimännikkö's saunas are heated daily in summer and almost daily in winter. In addition to the general sauna shifts, a separate wood-heated traditional sauna can be booked. Swimming is possible year-round.
