Akaa Locomotive Museum is a specialty museum located in Toijala, focusing on the history of railway traffic and locomotives. The museum operates in an old red-brick engine shed built in 1876, located across from Toijala railway station. The collections feature a wide range of locomotives from different eras, track maintenance machines, and railway-related artifacts. The museum is maintained by the City of Akaa and the Museoveturiseura association, and is open to the public mainly during the summer. The museum's operational rolling stock can occasionally also be seen in heritage rail traffic.
