Original Sokos Hotel Vaakuna is a historic functionalist classic located in the heart of Helsinki, right next to the Railway Station. Completed for the 1952 Olympics, the protected hotel building charms with a unique 1950s atmosphere and original design details, such as Paavo Tynell's light fixtures. The hotel offers wonderful views over the city, especially from the restaurant on the 10th floor, where breakfast is also served.
