The event takes place in Salo market square on Saturday, and there are several mobile saunas to enjoy. In addition, there are several hot tubs or barrel tubs. Throughout the weekend, saunas in the Salo area have extended opening hours. The fire brigade saws a 2 m deep ice hole into the river, where you can take a dip in the muddy water. In 2024 the ice was 40 cm thick. In 2025 there was hardly any ice, so the ice hole was next to the pier.
