Piispanhuvila is a historical excursion harbor located in the Pihlajavesi archipelago, on the waterway between Puumala and Savonlinna, known especially for its cultural-historical past. Nearby, on Väkevälänvuori, there used to be an observatory, and the landscapes of the area have inspired renowned artists such as Albert Edelfelt and I.K. Inha. Visitors have access to a sauna maintained by the Saimaa Recreation Area Association, a grill shelter, a toilet, and a waste point.
