Chreli Abano is a famed sulfur-bathhouse complex nestled in Tbilisi’s Old Town, housed beneath domed brick bathrooms that echo the city’s centuries-old thermal-spring culture.  Guests may book private suites equipped with hot and cold sulfur-rich pools, a Finnish-style dry sauna, changing and resting areas, shower facilities. The mineral waters - rich in sulfur, potassium and magnesium - are believed to aid a variety of chronic conditions including arthritis, skin ailments and circulatory issues. The facility combines wellness, tradition and architectural charm: the striking tile-adorned façade recalls Persian influences, while inside the bubbling hot pools invite relaxation and ritual.
