Laajaranta is a scenic natural area with a wooden villa building over a hundred years old, a sheltered and shallow sandy beach, and a small gazebo atop a tall cliff. The property also has a beach sauna and a boat dock. The parish organizes sauna evenings at the beach sauna during summer evenings. In winter, the Laajasalo - Degerö Society organizes winter swimming.
