OPEN SAUNA MAPNOTE! The general sauna shifts - especially the women's shift - are extremely crowded. The sauna is heated by volunteer effort, so it is not possible to add more sauna days. Lempäälä parish's lakeside sauna by the old rectory. A cozy small red massive-log sauna built in the early 1900s, which has been kept in good condition. The washroom was renovated in the 2000s, when showers were installed. From the pier you can go swimming in the Herralanvuolle, and next to the sauna there is a gazebo where you can stay and chat with other bathers over a soda and grilled sausages, courtesy of the parish. On the men's sauna evening, there are bathers to the point of crowding. In the summer, the old rectory's lakeside sauna has free weekly sauna shifts for women and men. The sauna is not rented to outsiders.
