The facilities of Helen's Island are intended for cultural, celebratory, representational and meeting use. In addition to the municipality's own events, small-scale events for residents, organisations, companies and their employees can be held in the facilities. To support the activities taking place in the main building, a separate sauna building was constructed in the winter of 1990-91, containing a sauna, a fireplace room and kitchen facilities.
