SFC Mussalo

Camping Mussalo is located in the municipality of Taivassalo in a maritime setting. The area covers 2.8 hectares of varied terrain, including lawn, trees and rocky seashore. It operates as a public camping area daily from June to August, when there is a host on duty in the area. At other times, from Easter to the end of May and from the beginning of September to the end of October, it is an SFC contract area and open at weekends with a host on duty. There are saunas by the swimming beach. The saunas are heated daily during the summer season and at weekends in April–May and September–October. Use of the sauna during the public sauna shift is included in the daily fee. Various events are held in the area during the summer season, and it also serves as an overnight and service stop for canoe safaris.
