Hotel Alma is an experiential railway-side hotel located in the very center of Seinäjoki, serving travelers right next to the travel center and the railway station. Thanks to its central location, the hotel is very easy to reach by train, but there is also plenty of free parking space and electric car charging points available for driving guests in the hotel's yard. The accommodation facilities are divided into four unique buildings, which beautifully combine local history with modern comforts. The main building is an old Art Nouveau-style house for railway workers, inaugurated in 1909. A true specialty is Alma's Tower, built into a 1920s steam locomotive water tower, whose rooms have their own saunas and jacuzzis. Alma's New Tower, completed in 2020, offers modern and practical rooms as well as luxury suites with large balconies on the top floor. The yard area is complemented by the traditional Pollari House, renovated in 2022, a historic Ostrobothnian house that was relocated to the site.
