Over the years, Koski-Jaakko's rapids boats have carried tens of thousands of travellers through the rushing waters of Ruunaa. In addition to the homemade wooden boats, the vessels include rubber rafts and canoes. Koski-Jaakko's hut is located downstream of the last rapid on the rapids route.
