Kuntotalo Swimming Hall

This sauna has public shifts

Ylitornio's Kuntotalo, built in 1989, includes a sports hall, a swimming pool, and two gym facilities. The sports hall is over 800 square meters in size and can be divided into three sections. There is seating for 500 spectators, and there are six changing rooms with showers. The swimming pool has a 25-meter long, four-lane pool with five massage jets. Additionally, there is a children's pool and a jacuzzi on the upper platform. The swimming pool was renovated between 2017 and 2019, during which the tiling and railings of the washing facilities and pool area were renewed. The gym facilities are located both downstairs and upstairs, and upstairs there is also a wattbike exercise bike, a treadmill, and a rowing machine. The downstairs gym was renovated in 2017, when most of the equipment was replaced. The Kuntotalo will be closed for renovation starting 1.6.2026, and the renovation is planned to be completed in August 2027. During the renovation, the gym will operate in temporary facilities, and the halls of the elementary school, high school, and youth center will be used as temporary facilities for the sports hall.
