This sauna has public shifts

A free sauna maintained by the Päijänne Recreation Area Association, open to all. The island is separated from the mainland by only a narrow strait, but by canoe/kayak one has to paddle about 4km from the boat launch site, since the shores near the island only have private cottages. The starting point coordinates are 61.922017, 25.711213. The island is probably mainly visited by boaters. Sauna turns should be marked on the board at the grill shelter, and in the evening there are general men's and women's turns. But nobody seems to use the board, and sometimes people sauna comfortably in mixed groups. The sauna is located in a nicely peaceful spot slightly apart from the boat docks. The sauna operates on a self-service basis, meaning you chop the wood and light the stove yourself.
