Lempäälä Natural Spa was founded in 1926 by Augusta Uoti. Since 1981, the spa's operations have been led by Kirsti Uoti, a specialist in internal medicine and rheumatology. Key elements of the Uoti method of treatment include various contrast baths, steam and sauna treatments, pour-overs, cold-towel massage, and wrap treatments. The red-brick spa and accommodation building was completed in 1938. Most spa guests take a full-board package that includes accommodation, meals, and treatments. It is also possible to rent just the sauna. Private events can be organized in the spa's Art Nouveau-style main building.
